The Lullaby Choir at playdays Children's Festival

  • Jersey Arts Centre Phillips Street Jersey, St Helier, JE2 4SW Jersey (map)

Conducted by Esther Rose Parkes.

The Lullaby Choir emerged from the Lullaby Project in September 2024, setting out to create a ‘lullaby portrait’ of contemporary Jersey.

The choir performs lullabies collected in Jersey, including original songs written by choir members themselves. These have been specially arranged for the choir by commissioned musicians Beth Allen, Janet Swan, Esther Rose Parkes, Carol Donaldson, Thabo Mkwananzi and Katy Rose Bennett.

Singing acapella in a rich variety of languages – including Māori, Dutch, Jèrriais, Urdu, Romansh, and Farsi – the choir offers audiences an uplifting and deeply moving experience of harmony and togetherness.

Join us for an afternoon of joyful, soothing and gorgeous singing in the choir’s final concert, marking the close of this very special project.

Suitable for all ages. Tickets are free of charge and limited to six per booker. All attendees, including babies, must be ticket holders.

Please book a ticket via Jersey Arts Centre here.
